Research
Niki Lukviarman did post doctorate work as an Adjunct Senior Research Fellows in
Governance and Corporate Social Responsibility Centre at Curtin University of
Technology (2004-2006); the Governance Working Group-Accounting Development
Center, University of Indonesia, Jakarta; Center for Banking Research Andalas
University (2006-present); and Governance Research Program-the Management Institute
of Andalas University (2006-present). He has carried out research on: corporate
governance issues in publicly listed companies in Indonesia, particularly on the issue of
ownership structure, business groups, board of directors; on finance and banking through
Center for Banking Research, including credit allocation scheme, Islamic (Sharia)
banking, financial intermediaries, micro and small-business financing. He taught
Accounting and Finance, Strategic Management and Corporate Governance courses at
Andalas University from 1990-present.
